Vehicle Support Services
For those who don’t want a guide, but need a way to carry their gear.
Many groups want to run their own trips but don’t have the means to haul gear into the backcountry. Rim Tours carries your gear — and you can rent any or all of the camping gear you need. Our service includes a truck and driver for Moab-area trips.
We supply an open pickup truck with a rack system that carries up to four bikes, with sides that keep your gear contained within the rack and bed. Those sides double as tables you can use at camp.

How it works
You’re hiring a driver, not a guide
Don’t expect a guided trip or for your driver to be with you at all times. Work out the general day’s plan together so everyone knows where you’ll meet up.
White Rim permits
For White Rim trips you must secure your own camping permit. Contact Canyonlands National Park at (435) 259-4351.
Getting to the trailhead
Because space in the support vehicle is limited, you’ll provide your own transportation to the start of the ride or arrange a shuttle with us.
Outside the Moab area
Base pricing covers Moab-area trips. There are additional costs for renting gear and for travel to tours outside the Moab area — contact us for a quote.
